We responded to the invitation of our well-known contemporary historian, Mr. Srdjan Cvetković, to symbolically plant nine roses in memory of the victims of the elementary school “Vladislav Ribnikar”. We talked with the children about peer violence and the importance of socializing among peers, as well as the positive aspects of communication between children, parents and teachers. After the planting, we moved to the classroom where we held an interactive environmental lesson for the first graders where they learned the importance of planting, recycling and teamwork. After this action, we agreed with the school director on the continuation of future cooperation (which took place in the fall).
